2. O BOŽE

O Bože, ti si muško, ti si žena,
ti si dječak, ti si djevojčica;
ti si starac koji klimata sa štapom;
ti postojiš u svim oblicima.

 Atharva veda X, 8.27

5. ZAZIVANJE MIRA

Neka je mirna zemlja i miran prostor,
neka su mirna nebesa, mirne vode i mirno bilje,
neka u miru raste drveće.

I svi mi anđeli podarili mir
i mir neka nam udijeli ovaj mironosni pjev.

Ovim ću pjevanjem blagotvornim
smiriti sve što je strašno i okrutno,
i sve što je grješno.

Da sve postane blago i svečano.

“... When the media is making you mad and sad with news of some tragedy, don't forget:

"There is one world, created by Natural Law, and there is one Government of Natural Law to govern the world and the universe around it.

Everything in our world and our universe is governed in a perfectly orderly manner with such precision and perfection that it is obvious that the administering intelligence of the universe, which conducts this orderly evolution of everyone and everything, is a perfect administrator.

The secret of this perfection in administration of the vast, ever-expanding universe is in automation, evolution, and the action-independent, selfreferral, self-sufficient, spontaneous functioning of Cosmic Creative Intelligence–the infinite organizing power of Natural Law.

The absolute order of this administration is eternally secured in its purity because it is located in the transcendental field of life–Unity–where in its absolute purity, beyond the reach of anything, nothing can disturb it, nothing can pollute it, nothing can corrupt it. It is safely secured in its own absolute, invincible, self-sufficient state. It is established in the absolute state of defence."

Rules Of The Road, Indian Style

Traveling on Indian Roads is an almost hallucinatory potion of sound, spectacle and experience. It is frequently heart-rending, sometimes hilarious, mostly exhilarating, always unforgettable -- and, when you are on the roads, extremely dangerous. Most Indian road users observe a version of the Highway Code based on a Sanskrit text. These 12 rules of the Indian road are published for the first time in English:

ARTICLE I:
The assumption of immortality is required of all road users.

ARTICLE II:
Indian traffic, like Indian society,is structured on a strict caste system. The following precedence must be accorded at all times. In descending order, give way to:
Cows, elephants, heavy trucks, buses, official cars, camels, light trucks, buffalo, jeeps, ox-carts, private cars, motorcycles, scooters, auto-rickshaws, pigs, pedal rickshaws, goats, bicycles (goods-carrying), handcarts, bicycles (passenger-carrying), dogs, pedestrians.

ARTICLE III:
All wheeled vehicles shall be driven in accordance with the maxim: to slow is to falter, to brake is to fail, to stop is defeat. This is the Indian drivers' mantra.

ARTICLE IV:
Use of horn (also known as the sonic fender or aural amulet):
Cars (IV,1,a-c):
Short blasts (urgent) indicate supremacy, IE in clearing dogs, rickshaws and pedestrians from path. Long blasts (desperate) denote supplication, IE to oncoming truck: "I am going too fast to stop, so unless you slow down we shall both die". In extreme cases this may be accompanied by flashing of headlights (frantic). Single blast (casual) means: "I have seen someone out of India's 870 million whom I recognise", "There is a bird in the road (which at this speed could go through my windscreen)" or "I have not blown my horn for several minutes."
Trucks and buses (IV,2,a):
All horn signals have the same meaning, viz: "I have an all-up weight of approximately 12.5 tons and have no intention of stopping, even if I could." This signal may be emphasised by the use of headlamps.
Article IV remains subject to the provision of Order of Precedence in Article II above.

ARTICLE V:
All manoeuvres, use of horn and evasive action shall be left until the last possible moment.

ARTICLE VI:
In the absence of seat belts (which there is), car occupants shall wear garlands of marigolds. These should be kept fastened at all times.

ARTICLE VII:
Rights of way:
Traffic entering a road from the left has priority. So has traffic from the right, and also traffic in the middle.
Lane discipline (VII,1):
All Indian traffic at all times and irrespective of direction of travel shall occupy the centre of the road.

ARTICLE VIII:
Roundabouts: India has no roundabouts. Apparent traffic islands in the middle of crossroads have no traffic management function. Any other impression should be ignored.

ARTICLE IX:
Overtaking is mandatory. Every moving vehicle is required to overtake every other moving vehicle, irrespective of whether it has just overtaken you.
Overtaking should only be undertaken in suitable conditions, such as in the face of oncoming traffic, on blind bends, at junctions and in the middle of villages/city centres. No more than two inches should be allowed between your vehicle and the one you are passing -- and one inch in the case of bicycles or pedestrians.

ARTICLE X:
Nirvana may be obtained through the head-on crash.

ARTICLE XI:
Reversing: no longer applicable since no vehicle in India has reverse gear.

Guru Dev:

Do good works without hesitation

7. 'The Jiva has been experiencing samsara for many, many births. It is only natural, therefore, that its tendencies have become worldly. To turn its tendency toward Paramatma and away from samsara [worldly life] requires effort. In reality, the aim of life is to stop the mind from involvement with this world. If one engages in the spiritual practice of Bhagavan and in thinking and speaking about Him, the mind will start dwelling on Him, and after some time, it will withdraw from samsara on its own.

In our daily affairs we should adopt a strategy of quickly attending to good works and things related to the divine. Should any wrong thought arise, on the other hand, we should try to postpone it to another time by saying, "I'll do it tomorrow, or the day after next." In this way, wrong action can be continuously postponed.'

['Shri Shankaracharya UpadeshAmrita' kaNa 83 of 108 ]

Jai Shri Krishna
Krishna is a full incarnation of Vishnu, and therefore like Vishnu He is located in the ventricular system and the central canal of the spinal cord and brain. In this incarnation, Vishnu did not directly participate in the action, but acted as a teacher and guide. Krishna taught that the transcendence of action is the basis of mastery over the field of action: Nistrai gunyo bhava Arjun (be without the three Gunas, be out of te field of action) and Yogasthah kuru karmani (established in the Self, pure consciousness, perform action). This is the process of transcending, as taught by Maharishi and described earlier in this book (Human Physiology - Expression of Veda and Vedic Literature, by Prof. Tony Nader Raam, MD, PhD). It involves a natural process of allowing the attention to take an inward direction, as opposed to the direction of outward sensory experience.

In the nervous system, there are two directions of the flow of information besides the association fibres of the great intermediate net – inward (the sensory system) and outward (the motor system). Both are under Vishnu's control in his incarnation as either Krishna or Raam. The sensory system is under Krishna's rulership and the motor system under Raam's rulership. Krishna's main seat of action in the physiology involves the entire nervous system, and more specifically the parietal lobe and sensory cortex of the brain.

The senses draw the attention outward. Sensory input, however, travels in an inward direction from the object via the sensory apparatus to the subject. Krishna's teaching takes the inward direction to its ultimate value in the transcendental field of consciousness. It is only from and within the transcendental field that perfect action can be udertaken. Mastery over the senses, and what they seem to highlight in the field of diversity, comes through transcendence. This is one of the essential aspects of Vishnu's teaching in his incarnation as Krishna.

Krishna, therefore, has control over the inward stroke of life and all physiological inputs. These inputs are carried through the fibres, nerves, and tracts in the physiology that carry sensory impulses from the right and lift sides of the body to the left and right sides of the brain respectively. All of these impulses cross at the midline around the central canal, representing Krishna.
